Our Journey

IHSB STEM Fest — one of its kind in Bangladesh, is a project by International Hope School Bangladesh which began with a vision to ignite scientific curiosity and celebrate innovation among the youth.

The journey started in 2019, when International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB) hosted the first-ever STEM Fest — an Intra - School Project Exhibition featuring remarkable creations by IHSB Students. From Robotics to Scientific Experiments and creative Engineering Models, it quickly became a proud showcase of talent and collaboration.

After a successful debut, IHSB STEM Fest returned in 2023, once again as an Intra - School celebration that further strengthened IHSB’s culture of Innovation. With even greater participation and higher-quality projects, it set the stage for a bold new era.

That era arrived in 2024, when IHSB STEM Fest evolved into an Inter - School Event for the first time. Co-Hosted by the Student-led Hopians Math, Programming & Robotics Club (HMPRC) and the IHSB STEM Club, it drew over 1,600 Participants from Schools across Dhaka. The festival also introduced two major competitions — the Hopians Biochemistry Olympiad and the Hopians Math Olympiad — expanding its academic reach and national appeal.

Then came IHSB STEM Fest 2025 — a thrilling new chapter that took the festival to even greater heights. With more Schools, new challenges, and rising enthusiasm, it launched the Hopians Physics Olympiad and Hopians Programming Olympiad, highlighting the deep connection between Science and Technology. The 2025 edition stood as another proud leap forward, celebrating creativity, teamwork, and the unshakable scientific spirit of IHSB.

Mission & Vision

Since its inception, IHSB STEM Fest has grown from 400 Participants to nearly 2,000, reflecting our commitment to nurturing curiosity and creativity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our mission is to expand the festival into a major national platform, reaching over 5,000 Participants in future editions. We aim to inspire even more Students to showcase their talents, explore innovative ideas, and contribute to STEM advancements in Bangladesh. Above all, we want to show that science is not just for enthusiasts — it’s exciting, engaging, and full of possibilities for anyone eager to learn and create.
